Angel Doll confronts Reacher about the car he stole after rescuing Richard; he knows it had phony plates and Reacher might be a cop. Reacher murders Angel Doll, hides his corpse in the trunk of a Lincoln, then goes back out to Beck and Duke. |
Angel Doll confronts Reacher about the Audi at the impound lot. He also notices that the mini-van Reacher “stole” after the attempted kidnapping was prepped for him to make it easy to hot-wire. When Duke arrives to pick up Reacher, he murders Angel Doll and stuffs him under a desk in the Bizarre Bazaar warehouse office. |

Reacher messages Duffy to leave him a car on the road away from the House gate. Reacher swims around the property wall and finds the car on the road. He drives back to the warehouse where he killed Angel Doll and searches for Teresa Daniel; he does not find anything useful. He drives the Lincoln with Angel Doll’s corpse to a city parking lot. |
Reacher goes to the ocean to swim about the gate so he is not noticed leaving the property. Reacher and Duffy search the warehouse for Teresa Daniels unsuccessfully. They stuff Angel Doll’s body into the trunk of his Audi and put it in shipping container #0013 then clean up the blood in the office. Duffy takes Angel’s laptop computer.
