In the Book In the Movie
The story ends with their escape. Goldman says that Morgenstern indicated that they might not have made it because several things happened, but he left it open that they did. The grandfather ends the story and indicates that there is more kissing and the grandson won't want to hear it. But he does, so the story ends with Buttercup and Westley kissing.
Buttercup has three nightmares. In the first she marries Humperdink then wakes up, and in the other two she has children who die because they were not born to parents who love each other. Only the first nightmare happens.
Not In Book When Buttercup was going to attempt suicide, Westley said the Buttercup's breasts were perfect to ruin.
