This Spoils the Ending
In the Graphic Novel In the Movie
Anastasia is a 24 year old Caucasian woman. Kat Valdez is a 50ish Latina.
Anastasia has three very successful ex-boyfriends but is currently not in a relationship. Kat is engaged to be married to a 20ish Bastian. It will be her fourth marriage. Kat's second husband ruined their marriage by selling a sex tape.
Anastasia is tired of dating and talks about arranged marriages. She nearly married a man at a Texas concert in 2010 after she was dumped by her boyfriend Lebron. She wants a normal man without an agenda who loves her and would not break her heart. Anastasia marries Guy as a spur of the moment thing; he is holding Parker's “marry me” sign while she left to relieve herself in the bushes outside. Kat is to be married to Bastian on stage during her concert. After finding out he has been cheating on her, she marries Charlie as he is holding Parker's “marry me” sign. Parker had handed Charlie the sign while she was taking selfies.
Guy is a 25 year old unmarried high school guidance counselor. Charlie is a high school teacher and single dad in his 50's with a daughter named Lou.
Anastasia finds a priest in the audience to perform the marriage. There is already a priest ready on stage for the marriage of Kat and Bastian
