This Spoils the Ending
In the Graphic Novel In the Movie
Janny is Ana's loyal assistant and sister. Guy went on stage to get Parker's sign autographed. But he married Anastasia when she said “yes” to Guy, making it appear as if he proposed to her. Guy didn't want to say no to avoid being thought of as gay. Kat found out a minute before she went out on stage to be married, that her fiance was cheating on her with Kat's assistant. Charlie married Kat on stage as she seemed to be having a nervous breakdown; he wanted to help her.
Anastasia's father is very controlling, but loves her. Kat's dad does not appear. Kat's manager tries to get Charlie to go along with the marriage for a while to manage the media frenzy.
Anastasia gives 97% of her income to charity. She has made $2 billion in the current decade and has $2 million in the bank. Kat works with a charity, nothing about donating her own money.
Parker tells Guy that they should have a threesome with Anastasia. Parker is a lesbian and has a crush on Anastasia. She is also a frequent editor of Anastasia's Wikipedia page. Parker Debbs recently broke up with her girlfriend; so she invites Charlie to the concert. Parker seems to have a crush on Kat but does not try to get her in bed.
Anastasia shares a bed at a hotel with Guy; she sleeps and he reads her autobiography so he can give her advice later on. Kat and Charlie part ways after the concert. She goes to her hotel and Charlie goes home. They continue to meet up at times when Kat flies home from trips overseas.
