Perino who was the one who assisted in the attempt to save Smith, not Eversmann who was back at base by then. The incident where Twombly was almost hit never happened.	Corporal Jamie Smith was mortally wounded while trying to save Twombly who was almost hit while trying to reach Eversmann's position at Crash Site One. Eversmann is his chalk leader (Chalk Four) and assists with the futile attempt to save Smith after his femoral artery is severed.
