In the Book In the Movie
Isserley takes her victims to a farm where her co-workers castrate and fatten them for slaughter. They hold up to 30 men at a time at the farm. Human flesh is an expensive delicacy on her home planet. The Girl leads her victims into a room where they are immersed in a pool of dark liquid which she can apparently walk on. The men in the pool dissolve leaving only their skin behind. The remains of the victims are somehow processed. No purpose is given for these actions.

Amliss departs Earth to tell his planet about the beauty of Earth and that they should not use humans as food. Isserley and her co-workers enjoy the human flesh prepared for Amliss. These scenes do not appear in the movie.
