In the Book In the Movie
Isserley is a canine-like quadruped alien surgically altered to appear more human. She needs to shave her thick body hair, wear a wig, clothes and glasses to pass as a somewhat disfigured human female with large breasts. The Girl in the movie appears to be a beautiful female even when nude. She is covered in fake skin to hide her real features.
Isserley (the girl) and her alien supervisor are the only ones surgically altered to appear human. The biker who collects some bodies appears to be a human male.
Isserley uses a red Corolla to pick up male hitchhikers. She uses drugged needles concealed in the passenger seat to knock them out. The Girl uses a white van to transport the men to her place. They go willingly.
Isserley enjoys walking on the beach, she admires sheep as they remind her of children on her home planet. The girl appears on the beach, but to capture a victim.
Isserley tries to pick up hitchhiking men without local connections who are well muscled and in good physical condition. The Girl is not as choosy about their condition, she does question men about local ties.
Isserley takes her victims to a farm where her co-workers castrate and fatten them for slaughter. They hold up to 30 men at a time at the farm. Human flesh is an expensive delicacy on her home planet. The Girl leads her victims into a room where they are immersed in a pool of dark liquid which she can apparently walk on. The men in the pool dissolve leaving only their skin behind. The remains of the victims are somehow processed. No purpose is given for these actions.
This scene does not appear in the book. The girl uses a rock to knock out a Czech tourist at the beach who tried to rescue a drowning couple. She drags him away and abandons the couple’s baby on the beach where the infant goes missing.
Amlis Vess, the son of the (alien) owner of the farm arrives to inspect; but instead tries to sabotage the operation by freeing some of the captive humans. Amliss departs Earth to tell his planet about the beauty of Earth and that they should not use humans as food. Isserley and her co-workers enjoy the human flesh prepared for Amliss. These scenes do not appear in the movie.
Scene does not appear in the book. The girl walks around a city in Scotland; she falls and is helped up by passers by.
Scene does not appear in the book. The girl is attacked by a group of young men while in her van, she calmly drives away.
The only thing Isserley ever took pity on was a dog belonging to one of her victims. She returned to the victim's van to release the dog. The girl lures a disfigured man into her van and allows him to touch her. After luring him to her place, she takes pity on him and lets him go. The man is rounded up by the motorcycle driver.
Isserley tries and fails to capture a large man who overpowers her and then tries unsuccessfully to rape her. She kills him and leaves his body at the scene. The girl meets a man on the bus who later takes her to bed willingly. He is unable to penetrate her; she pushes him off after several attempts.
Isserley doesn't need nor does she wear a bra. The girl wears a bra.
Isserley is the first female the Vess corporation surgically modified to lure/capture men for food. The biker carries a dead female to a place where the Girl strips the clothes off of the corpse and dons them.
Isserley captures one last victim but gets into an accident. She presses a button in her car to blow it up to remove any evidence of her alien nature. The girl takes shelter at a cabin in the woods. She is awakened by a man who tries to rape her and then tears her skin as she flees. The girl removes the skin from her body revealing her true dark featureless (but humanoid) form. The rapist douses her body in gasoline and she is reduced to ashes.
