Jeremy who is Elena younger brother(in the show only) Knew much about his parent since they were killed when he was around 14,according to the flashback during season 3 finale. Plus their death did affect him a lot, to cause him to use drugs, early in season 1. Plus they parents did get to know their 2nd child for 14 years before they were killed.
