There is a joust tournament. Riding on horses they use lances. It occurs inside the walls. They fight on the walls using blunt weapons.
Tyrion has his entire nose and most of his upper lip cut off by Mandon Moore. He just gets a gash across his face.
Brienne of Tarth is described as being ugly due to her abnormally large height and build, androgynous features, and physical strength that is greater than most men. She is skinny and still noticeably feminine. While she is an excellent fighter, the feats of her physical strength are never defined.
This doesn't happen, although Jaime eventually sympathizes with Brienne due to his travels with her. Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister come upon three dead girls hanging in a tree. Brienne cuts them down to bury them, but is attacked by soldiers of the Stark crest who also laugh at her. Jaime Lannister begins to sympathize with her.
Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister struggle at the river bank, with Brienne overpowering him repeatedly and demanding that he yield. This doesn't happen.
