This Spoils the Ending
In the Play In the Movie
The character Magenta exists as a vampy presence in the house alongside her brother, Riff-Raff. Magenta was given more of a justification for her presence as a maid/domestic.
Eddie enters by jumping out of the Coca-Cola vending machine in the laboratory where he has been frozen. Eddie enters via motorcycle from a walk-in deep freezer in the laboratory.
The characters of Eddie and Dr. Scott are played by the same actor, reinforcing their nephew/uncle relationship. (Still traditionally done.) Eddie and Dr. Scott are played by different actors.
Brad has a solo song, "Once in a While." Not included.
Eddie's dismembered remains are taken out of the coke machine and put in the disposal by Magenta. There is no dinner scene. Parts of Eddie's remains are served and eaten at dinner while the rest of him is under the table.
