   Ray first builds only the part of the field where Shoeless Joe would be in order to draw him. He realizes that he must build the whole field if he wants all the players to come. He builds the entire field all at once.
   Ray wants J.D. Salinger to come and see the field. Terrence Mann, a fictional author is who Ray seeks out.
   Salinger lives in the hills outside of Boston. Mann has an apartment in the middle of Boston.
   The field is finally completed after several years. It only takes a short time to finish the field.
   As sections of the field are finished, a player can come. So they arrive one by one. The teams comes out of the corn as a full group.
