They are all watching as Jed and Matt's father is taken to try and convice the boys to give up. He is using the bullhorn and is shot in the head by the North Korean General.
The boys head to the woods to hide out. They stop at a sporting goods store first to get supplies. They camp out in the woods. They go to Jed and Matt's family cabin.
This doesn't happen. Pete steals food from the group and leaves. He tells the North Koreans about the cabin and they come and burn it down.

Robert becomes a blood thirsty killer with no conscience. At first he is afraid of killing but gets used to it. He isn't blood thirsty.
Matt and Jed are allies and always have each other's backs. They are fighting most of the time because Matt is a hothead who only cares about himself.
Toni and Erica are sisters. They aren't sisters.
Toni lures several Russians into a field where the Wolverines pop up and shoot them. She stops at a checkpoint in town and turns and runs. The Koreans chase her into an alley, where the Wolverines pop up.
