Indy is alone when attempting to retrieve the Cross of Coronado. |
Herman is with him, and also during the train chase. |

The grave robbers catch Indy stealing the Cross after he accidentally kicks a rock while climbing out of the cave. |
It is because Herman accidentally drops the rope with Indy on it.

The grave robbers are accompanied by a younger kid by the name of Roscoe, who engages in a knife fight with Indy on the train. |
