In the Book In the Movie
   Crookshanks plays a major role. He doesn't. He is hardly mentioned.
   Harry overhears Mr. and Mrs. Weasley arguing inside their room in the Leaky Cauldron about whether they should tell Harry about Sirius Black's intentions to kill him. Mr. Weasley attempts to relay the information to Harry as he boards the Hogwarts Express, but Harry admits what he overheard. Mr. Weasley tells Harry of Sirius Blacks's intentions in private at the bar in the Leaky Cauldron.
   When Snape calls Hermione ''an insufferable know-it-all'' in class, Ron gets angry with him and receives detention. He agrees with him and whispers to Harry, ''He's got a point you know''.
   Harry did receive his birthday presents at the Dursleys. Not mentioned in the book.
   Does not happen The scene in the Gryffindor Dormitory where the boys try out the various Honeydukes sweets.
