This Spoils the Ending
In the Book In the Movie
Eddie has very little patience with Toons because he is annoyed with their obnoxious personalities and illogical actions. However, he does not outright hate them. Eddie hates all Toons because a Toon killed his brother. The only Toon he seems to like is Betty Boop.
Eddie is mostly humorless in part due to his cynical personality. Eddie had a sense of humor until a Toon killed his brother.
Eddie's family is never mentioned. Eddie's deceased brother heavily impacts his personality.
