While on the wedding barge, Scuttle and other anmals interrupt the wedding ceremony. But as the sun sets, Ursula returns to her octopus form while Ariel regains her mermaid form. She returns Ariel to the sea where Triton tries to take her back.

The queen gives Eric a ring that belonged to her mother. Scuttle interrupts the wedding party by stealing the ring. Ariel shows up and fights Ursula and breaks the shell containing her voice and reveals herself to Eric as his rescuer. Ursula resumes her octopus form and brings Ariel back to the ocean as the sun sets. |

Triton turns into a pitiful small creature after he agrees to trades places with Ariel to save her.

Ursula's eels electrocute Triton after he surrenders his trident to Ursula and he appears to die.

A giant Ursula stirs up a storm to battle Eric and Ariel. Eric boards one of the ships that Ursula raised and steers it into Ursula, killing her.

Ariel is the one that boards the ship and steers into Ursula to destroy her.

After Ursula's death, all of the enslaved mer-people return to their original form, as does Triton.

After Ursula dies, Triton returns to life, Ariel gives him his trident.

Eric waits on shore for Ariel and longs for her.

Eric insists upon searching for Ariel. His mother encourages him to search for her after he has doubts. |
