The queen gives Eric a ring that belonged to her mother. Scuttle interrupts the wedding party by stealing the ring. Ariel shows up and fights Ursula and breaks the shell containing her voice and reveals herself to Eric as his rescuer. Ursula resumes her octopus form and brings Ariel back to the ocean as the sun sets. |
Triton turns into a pitiful small creature after he agrees to trades places with Ariel to save her.

Ursula's eels electrocute Triton after he surrenders his trident to Ursula and he appears to die.

A giant Ursula stirs up a storm to battle Eric and Ariel. Eric boards one of the ships that Ursula raised and steers it into Ursula, killing her.
