   Glenn discovers Rick when he first enters the city and helps him escape. Glenn is not alone and has a group of other survivors with him when the help Rick.
   There are no Dixon Brothers. The Dixon brothers are part of the group outside of Atlanta. Merle is cuffed on top of the building in the first episode by Rick, and is left to die. His brother is back at the camp and wonders where he is.
   Shane and Lori have a one night stand. They are romantically engaged during the time they believe Rick to be dead. When Rick comes back, Lori wants to end it, but Shane isn't convinced.
   Shane is killed by Rick and Lori's son Carl. He sees Shane in a confrontation with his father and shoots him. Shane is one of the survivors who make it to the CDC building in Atlanta. He survives the first season.
   This doesn't happen. Rick sees a young girl with a teddy bear while he is looking for gas on his way to Atlanta. The girl is a zombie and she runs at him. He draws his gun and shoots her in the head.
   Carol's husband committed suicide. He is abusive to Carol at the camp and he is beaten by Shane. Later he is killed by Walkers when they invade the camp.
   Shane is killed by Carl before the group goes to Hershel's farm. Shane goes to Hershel's farm with the group. He is killed by Rick. He becomes a zombie and is shot by Carl.
   The zombies in the barn break out. Shane goes and opens the barn letting the zombies out so he can kill them.
   Rick brings a few guns with him to Atlanta. He realizes they need more so he and Glen return to find a gun shop. Rick drops the guns in Atlanta and he and Glen return to get them. They don't go to the gun shop.
   This doesn't happen. Rick jumps into a tank to hide from the Walkers. Glen calls him on the walkie talkie in the tank and tells
   Lori gives birth to her daughter in the prison. Hershel helps her deliver with help from Alice. Lori survives to care for Judith. Lori gives birth in the boiler room of the prison. Carl and Maggie are with her. Maggie cuts her open with Carl's knife.
   Lori and Judy are fleeing the prison when the Governor orders Lily to shoot them. Lori is shot in the back and Judy is killed as well. Lori is left bleeding after having the baby cut from her womb by Maggie. Assuming she is going to die, it appears that Carl shoots her in the head so she doesn't become a zombie. The baby survives and is taken by Maggie to Rick.
   Alan is bitten on the leg and Rick cuts off his leg with an ax to save his life. Herschel is bitten and his leg is chopped off.
   Carol starts a relationship with Tyrese. Tyrese isn't in the show. Carol flirts with Daryl.
   Sophia goes to the prison. Sophia is killed before they go to the prison.
   Andrea and Dale are in a relationship. They are not. It is more like a father daughter relationship.
   Herschel has two very young daughters who are murdered by Thomas the inmate in the prison. Herschel only has his two daughters who are older. Neither is murdered in prison.
   The call the zombies, roamers. They are walkers.
