Ash finds the bridge has been destroyed when he tries to take Cheryl to the hospital.	David finds that the roads are flooded.
Ash stops the demons by burning the book of the dead. This stops his reanimated friends from killing him.	Eric tries to burn the book, but it has no effect.
Ash buries Linda, but she comes out of the ground and he cuts her head off with a shovel.	David buries Mia and that causes the demon to escape from her body.
Ash is the only survivor, but is chased by the evil as the film ends.	Mia is the only survivor. She walks away but the book of the dead is still there.
