In the Movie In the Video Game
The Jabba's Palace scenes are told from the perspective of C-3PO and R2-D2 dealing with Jabba the Hutt and eventually forced to be come his slaves. They are told from the point-of-view of Chewbacca and Leia, in disguise as Boushh.
Leia reveals her true identity to Han after he is released from the carbonite. She takes the helmet off before releasing him.
Luke infiltrates the palace after Leia and Chewbacca have been held captive. He joins Chewbacca and Leia when they go in.
Jabba sends Luke and Jubnuk down into the Rancor pit, where Luke eventually crushes it with the gate door. Han, Chewbacca, 3PO and R2 are sent down as well, omitting the scene where Han and Chewbacca meet up in the dungeon.
Jabba turns Leia into a slave before the Rancor fight. It is right after it occurs.
When arriving at the Sarlacc pit, 3PO reads a death warrant for Luke and company on a loudspeaker. This doesn't happen.
The Max Rebo Band performs a song number for Jabba in his palace before Jabba gets fed up with Oola and sends her down into the Rancor pit. Both of these scenes are omitted.
The Rancor's trainer cries after it is killed. We never see this.
Lando dangles from one of the platform and nearly gets eaten by the Sarlacc before Han blasts it's tentacle, saving him. This never happens and they're both with Luke on the main barge.
3PO's eye is taken out by Salacious Crumb and he falls off the barge by R2 pushing him to avoid being destroyed in the explosion. Crumb is absent and they both fall off the barge due to a tremor in the incoming explosion.
Before going to Endor, there are scenes of Luke returning to Dagobah where Yoda dies and Obi-Wan's ghost tells him of his sister, the Emperor arriving on the Death Star and the meeting of the mission to Endor. All of these are omitted.
Luke and Leia are separated after the speeder bike where Leia meets Wicket the Ewok. Luke and Leia are still together afterwards and Leia meets the Ewoks with everyone else. Additionally, they succeed in blowing up an Imperial outpost.
Chewbacca is lured into the Ewok's trap with a dead animal. It's a bone.
The Ewoks attempt to sacrifice Han and the others to 3PO before Luke uses the Force to trick the Ewoks into believing 3PO is an angry god. The Ewoks trust them right after mistaking 3PO for a god.
The three storylines of Luke facing Vader and the Emperor, the rebels down on Endor and Lando leading the fleet with the assault on the second Death Star overlap one another. Like Empire Strikes Back, it tells them in a more linear way.
The Emperor attempts to persuade Luke to join the dark side before deciding to kill him. The Emperor gets out of his chair and tries to kill Luke immediately.
Vader and Luke have a rematch duel where Luke lashes out in aggression and slices off Vader's hand. This is omitted, Vader joins a duel between Luke and the Emperor.
While torturing Luke with his lightning force, Vader picks him up and hurls him to his death, fatally injuring himself in the process. Vader gets in the way of the lightning force, and he seems to be fine from it.
Anakin's ghost doesn't appear until at the celebration with Yoda and Obi-Wan's ghosts. Anakin's ghost appears as Luke is burning his body.
