In the Book In the Movie
   The game is found two neigborhood kids, Danny and Walter. The game is found by a couple of French kids buried in the sand.
   Peter has dark hair and wear glasses. Peter don't wear glasses, and looks different, than the book version.
   Judy and Peter Shepherd play the game while their parents are out. Their parents were killed in a skiing accident and they live with their aunt.
   Judy and Peter lock the lion in their mother's bedroom. Alan locks the lion in a bedroom.
   The game takes place onlyin the Shepherd's house. The game spills out into the streets.
   Alan, who been trapped in the game since he was a child don't appear. Alan does appear.
   The book ends with Daniel and Walter who finds the game again in the park and is running with it. These characters don't appear
   The kids take the game back to the park where they found it. The game transports Alan and Sarah back to 1969 when they first played. They chain the game up and throw it into a river.
   They find the game in the park They find the game in the attic of the house.
