Jace says yes although zombies are generally found further south where the void in priests are. Clary's asks about mummies next to which jace replies of course not, no one believes in mummies. |
Zombies don't exist.
Simon and Isabelle have a conversation in which he asks if he would run into any zombies and she said no they don't exist.

When they are at Magnus' party, Simon is turned into a rat from vampires, and Isabelle and Alec go back to the institute while Clary and Jace get Simon. |
