The Grand Duke is tasked by the King to find the Prince a mate at any cost. |
He wants him to marry a princess and is annoyed at Cinderella's appearance. |

Lady Tremaine locks Cinderella in her room before the Duke comes to try the glass slipper on the maidens. |
She goes to Cinderella's room and threatens her that she must make her the head of the kingdom and her daughters also princesses, but Cinderella refuses and she smashes the other glass slipper.

The mice get the key to Cinderella so she can escape the attic just before the Duke leaves. |
