   Abagnale never saw his father after he ran away from home. He goes to see him to show off his Pan Am uniform.
   The story is told only from Frank's point of view. There is a back and forth between Frank's exploits and Carl the FBI agent on his tail.
   Frank impersonates a college profession, but doesn't teach a foreign language. Frank is show teaching french.
   Frank retires from his life of crime and is living in a small french town where is is discovered by a former Pan-Am stewardess. He is arrested by the french police. Carl tracks down Frank while he is still committing fraud in France and arrests him.
   Frank has a six month stint in a jail in France followed by his extradition to Sweden for more jail time. He then goes to the States where he is imprisioned again. Frank is in French jail for only a short time before Carl takes him back to the US to go to jail.
